Hospitality is one of the most important components of tourism industry. In many regions the hospitality industry thrives only due to the presence of tourism. The service providers add facilities and features so as to attract and retain customer base. The hospitality industry of Katra township of J&K is based on the pilgrims' flow to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi. This paper tries to determine whether the hospitality industry of Katra really looks in to the customer satisfaction which is in this study the pilgrims' satisfaction when the customer flow is constant. In order to determine this, the paper tries to find the religious expectations of pilgrims from the hospitality units like hotels of Katra; and their satisfaction level by finding the extent to which the pilgrims' expectations are met. The paper also examines the difference between male and female level of expectation and satisfaction.Keywords

Tourist travelling throughout the world spends thirty to forty percent of their budget on food and beverage. Food cannot be neglected when travelling to distances away from home as it plays a major role in enhancing experiences. Travellers looking forward for new taste, new food and customs related with food directly or indirectly. Local food is a valuable resource for destination promotion and improves competitiveness among catering establishment. It plays an important role in developing brand image at regional, national and international level.
The region of Uttarakhand can be dived in two broad regions when we discuss the cuisine. The Garhwal region consist of district Chamoli, Tehri, Pauri, Uttarkashi, Dehradun, Haridwar and Rudraprayag have their own regional specialities. The Kumaun region has district as Nainital, Almora, Pithoragarh, Udham Singh Nagar, Bageshwar and Champwat. The Kumauni and Garhwali cuisine popularly known as Pahari Cuisine.
Being the holiest shrines of Hindu, for more than thousand year's pilgrims visiting as Char-Dham Yatra in hope of salvation and purification of sin. The cuisine has regional influences because of its geographical locations, invasions and foreign settlers. The food and style of cooking are seasonal due to change in weather. The organic food and slow cooking suits tremendously of high-energy necessities of mountain and cold climate.
The objectives of study are as
• To find special features of Local Cuisines of Uttarakhand.
• To analyze the association of demographic factors and popularity of Local Cuisine among tourist arrival.
• To study the level of acceptance of Local Cuisines among tourists arrival as destination attraction.

Pregnancy is a time of great anticipation. Hypertension is one of the common complications and contributes significantly to perinatal mortality and morbidity. Hypertension is a sign of underlying pathology which may be pre-existing or appear for the first time during pregnancy. The identification of clinical entity and effective management plays a significant role in the outcome of pregnancy, both for the mother and the baby. The main aim of the study was to enhance the knowledge regarding pregnancy induced hypertension among antenatal mothers through exhibition in order to improve maternal and fetal outcome. For this study Quasi-experimental research design was used. The study was conducted on conveniently selected 60 samples of antenatal mothers attending antenatal outpatient department of selected hospitals, Jalandhar, Punjab. Data was collected by Socio-demographic variables and Self Structured Knowledge Questionnaire. Collected data was analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics. Tables and Bar diagrams were used to depict the findings. The pretest mean knowledge score in control group and experimental group was 16.33, 16.20 respectively and where as the post test mean knowledge score in control group and experimental group was 16.46, 26.03 respectively. The difference of pretest posttest mean knowledge score of antenatal mothers in control group was statistically not significant whereas it was statistically significant in experimental group. The tcal 0.1442 < ttab 1.96 in control group whereas in experimental group tcal 15.2915 > ttab 1.96. So the difference of post-test mean knowledge score of experimental group was statistically significant at p<0.05 level. Thus, it indicated that Exhibition had significant impact on knowledge regarding pregnancy induced hypertension among antenatal mothers in experimental group. In this study posttest knowledge score was not associated with any socio-demographic variables.Keywords

In wireless networks due to the presence of unreliable links, efficiency and overall network performance degrades. To ensure the reliable end to end transmission, lost packets are retransmitted. Network coding improves the efficiency of network but susceptible to pollution attack in the presence of malicious nodes and links. The main concern of this paper is to limit the pollution attack by identifying malicious nodes and isolating it from the network so that the system can quickly recover from attackers Simulation shows that the proposed protocol OTRPR-NC routes the coded packets through the best possible path of the malicious network and minimizes the average no. of transmissions. It also optimizes the packet buffering, Network reliability and Retransmission time as compared to IPDR and ONCBT algorithms.Keywords

In a typical organizational working environment, it is imperative for organization to retain staff and ensure their effectiveness. Organizations are always established to achieve specific goals and such goals are tied to various degrees on staff motivation, retention, and efficiency among other things. Corporate entities especially in the hotel industry are facing a lot of problem in terms of employee turnover. Despite the centrality of motivation as a vital tool in employee’s turnover and productivity, it is often underutilized by most managers in workplace. Unmotivated employees are likely to spend little or no effort in their jobs, avoid the workplace as much as possible, produce low quality work and finally exit the organization. On the other hand, employees who feel motivated to work are likely to be persistent, creative and productive, turning out high quality work that they willingly undertake.
There is a need to examine the impact of motivational factors that will ensure employees efficiency and retention as well as quality service in the hotel industry. This paper examines and tries to compare the views of employees working in different hotels of Kolkata. This research is empirical in nature and is based on primary data collected directly from the concerned employees by means of interview and questionnaire to rate various criterion. The data so collected has been subjected to reliability tests and analyzed using SPSS 16.0. This study will help employers to understand employee needs and plan welfare and development activities more in line with employee requirements in order to increase efficiency and decrease attrition rates.

The Indian oil and gas sector is of strategic importance and it has a pivotal role in influencing decisions in all other spheres of the economy. The annual growth of this sector has been commendable and will accelerate in future consequently it encouraging all round growth and development of the economy. The Indian oil and gas (O&G) sector is projected to touch US$ 139,814.7 million by 2015 from US$ 117,562.9 million in 2012. This sector provides ample opportunities for investor’s .Profitability is the profit earning capacity, which is a crucial factor contributing to the survival of the firms. The objective of this study is to analyse the profitability position of the companies listed with BSE Oil and Gas index from the year 2003-04 to 2012-13. It was found from the analysis that Oil India Ltd. maintained first position in terms of profitability while BPCL stood last. It is suggested that companies should reduce their operating cost, efficient utilization of their asset base and increase in operational efficiency for enhancing the further profitability in future.

The recent researches have proved that SQ also plays an equal important role in a person life as IQ and EQ play. This study aims to investigate the relationship between spiritual intelligence adjustments of working women. It was conducted on a sample of 100 working women of district Ludhiana. The main findings of this study signify that there is significant and negative relationship between spiritual intelligence and adjustment of working women. The working women with a higher level of spiritual intelligence have a higher level adjustment. However, there was significant difference found in spiritual intelligence of working women in relation to their age and family system.Keywords

This study aimed to assess the level of deviant behavior and then explore the factors contributing towards deviant behavior among adolescents in selected senior secondary schools of district Mohali, Punjab with a view to develop an information booklet. A quantitative approach with exploratory design was adopted. By convenient sampling technique 200 adolescents were selected from selected senior secondary schools of district Mohali, Punjab. Modified Normative Deviance Scale (NDS) and structured checklist were used to collect the data from adolescents in selected senior secondary schools of district Mohali, Punjab. Findings of the study shows that shows that majority 70.5% of the adolescents were in the age group of 15-16years, 59% of adolescents were female, 57.5% of the adolescents were Hindu, 62% were living in nuclear family, 36% adolescents had more than 3 siblings, 40% had 30,001-50,000 family income per month (in rupees), 28.5% adolescents’ mother studied up to secondary level and 64.5% had non-working mothers, 32.5% adolescents’ father studied up to graduation level, 98.5% had working fathers, 52.5% adolescents had 71-90% class attendance and 55.5% adolescents were using WhatsApp in their most of the leisure time. The majority of the adolescents i.e. 187(93.5%) fall into a category of mild level of deviant behavior, 12(6.0%) were having moderate level of deviant behavior and 1(0.5%) were having severe level of deviant behavior. there was significant association of level of deviant behavior with educational status of mother, working status of mother.Keywords
